The 2nd Political Economy Workshop

July 28 & 29, 2018
Venue: M-24, IIM Bangalore

about the event

The Centre for Public Policy at IIM Bangalore in collaboration with the School of Economics at the University of Kent, is hosting a workshop on campus on political economy. The Political Economy Workshop (PEW) series provides a platform for engaged discussions on political economy, and the role of socio-political institutions (formal and informal) within the broad process of economic development. We welcome academic research and dialogue on issues in these broad areas. The workshop focusses on a few well developed and potentially influential research papers and arranges for extended discussion within a small group environment. We hope PEW will promote contributions to the academic discourse and shape research-led public policy.
