Digital Nub is a first of its kind programme in the country using blended learning.  Focus on your job during weekdays and learn Digital Marketing on weekends. Online classes will be held using state of the art technology. The experience will be interactive and engaging. The technology platform will enable discussions and group projects. Most online classes will be live and synchronous. Some will be pre-recorded and asynchronous. All classes will be direct-to device (laptop) and hence can be attended from the comfort of your home or office. High speed internet connection is the only requirement for online classes. The programme also has 4 days campus immersion which will allow you to experience the sprawling campus of IIM-B with its state of the art classrooms and infrastructure. On-campus classes will enable you to network with other participants of the programme.

The programme spans four months and has 65 contact hours. Each session is of 1.25 hours. The programme thus has 52 sessions. The ratio of online: offline is 64:36. In the beginning of the programme, campus immersion will be there for 4 days. Subsequently classes will be held every Saturday online. Few classes will be held in evening on weekdays. This is a programme specially designed for mid-level and senior managers of large, medium and small enterprises including entrepreneurs who want to hone their digital marketing skills. Prior knowledge of marketing is desirable.

The sessions will be imparted through a combination of presentations, live campaigns, case studies, group projects and lectures accompanied by audio visual learning.

Exams will be conducted as part of the programme evaluation.  Participants must clear their exams to get certificate of successful completion. Those who are unable to clear the exams will only get certificate of participation. Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory to get the certificate.

Programme Fee and Payment

INR 1,75,000/-  Non -Residential (+ Applicable GST) per person for participants from India and its equivalent in US Dollars for participants from other countries.

Please Note

All enrolments are subject to review and approval by the programme director. Joining Instructions will be sent to the selected candidates 10 days prior the start of the programme. Kindly do not make your travel plans unless you receive the letter from IIMB.

A certificate of participation will be awarded to the participants by IIMB.

  • The programme fee should be received by the Executive Education Office before the programme commencement date.
  • In case of cancellations, the fee will be refunded only if a request is received at least 15 days prior to the start of the programme.
  • If a nomination is not accepted, the fee will be refunded to the person/ organisation concerned.

Prof. Seema Gupta

Professor Seema Gupta specializes in digital marketing. She is an educator, trainer, researcher and consultant in digital marketing. Having trained more than 1000 professionals in middle and senior management in digital marketing she has deep insights in the domain. She has published papers in reputed journals such as Journal of Marketing Theory & Practice, Public Relations Review, Corporate Reputation Review, Management Review and Vikalpa. Winner of the EFMD Best case award (2011) and ISB-IVEY Best Case Award (2011), Professor Gupta has written cases on marketing challenges faced by companies such as Volkswagen, Bosch, Nielsen, DDB Mudra, Dainik Bhaskar etc. Her cases have been registered with Harvard Business School Publishing.

She has presented papers in international conferences. She has provided consulting in marketing strategy and communications to companies such as Nandini milk, Nilon’s, Karnataka State Seed Corporation, INDCOSERVE etc. Her articles have appeared in national media such as Economic Times and Financial Express. She is regularly quoted in national media for her views on marketing and digital. She is also the Chairperson of Post Graduate Program in Enterprise Management (PGPEM) at IIM-B. Prior to IIMB she has worked with RPG group in sales and marketing function and Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA).
