Programme Overview
Diversity within organizations is growing and effective management helps an organization harness skills, talent, and ideas. This program will help individuals understand their own biases, preferences, personal inclusivity, and help build inclusion as a competence. As participants engage the topic of inclusion, they will understand how to engage in honest and deeper discussions on topics considered sensitive.

Content
The program directors bring with them expertise with respect to diversity in terms of gender, sexual orientation, generational differences, and disability. The program will help participants understand their implicit biases and how to engage with others whose beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors are different from their own. Participants will specifically examine their attitudes towards diverse groups, and how diverse perspectives can be utilized towards making informed and inclusive decisions. Finally, participants will learn how they can reframe inclusion processes.

Pedagogy
The participants will be exposed to participative classroom interactions, panel discussions involving key diversity players in India, experiential learning, and group activities.

Programme Fee
INR 1,00,500/- Residential and INR 90,000/- Non -Residential (+ Applicable GST) per person for participants from India and its equivalent in US Dollars for participants from other countries.

Early Bird Discount
Nominations received with payments on or before 19-Sept-22 will be entitled to an early bird Discount of 10%.

Group Discount
Group Discount of 5% percentage can be availed for a group of 3 or more participants when nominations received from the same organization.

Please Note
All enrolments are subject to review and approval by the programme director. Joining Instructions will be sent to the selected candidates 10 days prior the start of the programme.

The programme fee should be received by the Executive Education Office before the programme commencement date.

In case of cancellations, the fee will be refunded only if a request is received at least 15 days prior to the start of the programme.

If a nomination is not accepted,the fee will be refunded to the person/ organisation concerned.

A certificate of participation will be awarded to the participants by IIMB.

Programme Directors

Professor Vasanthi Srinivasan did her Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI Jamshedpur, and a Fellow in Management (PhD equivalent) from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. She was the ICCR Chair Professor of Corporate Responsibility and Governance at the HHL School of Management, Leipzig, Germany in 2012-2013 and a British Council Visiting Scholar at the International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility at the Nottingham University Business School. Her research projects include  “Business and Human Rights disclosures of the 100 listed companies’ with National Human Rights Commission, “Rethinking responsible business conduct in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector” with CUTS International and “Building the women directorship pipeline in India” with support from National Stock Exchange. Vasanthi is currently on the Board of Directors of Enable India and Fourth Wave Foundation. She was a member of the Uday Kotak Committee on Corporate Governance set up by Securities Exchange Board of India in 2017. She has been a member of the Working Group on Business and Human Rights set up by NHRC and a member of the Advisory Group of the NAP on Business and Human Rights set up MCA in 2020. She is an Executive Committee Member of the International Society of Business, Economics & Ethics (ISBEE).

Professor Mukta Kulkarni obtained her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Organization and Management Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is currently a Professor and the Mphasis Chair for Digital Accessibility and Inclusion at IIMB and teaches courses on Organization Design. Regarding disability policy, she has served on the National Committee of the Confederation of Indian Industry, has authored reports for the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, and for the Karnataka Government. Her work has been recognized in a variety of academic spaces including Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Carlo Masini Award nomination, Personnel Review, Human Relations, Academy of Management Saroj Parasuraman Award nominations, Academy of Management best international paper award, and the Academy of Management Carolyn Dexter award.
