ET Cases – FLAME Innovation Case Award for Prof. Ganesh Prabhu

Dr Amarpreet Singh Ghura (Post Doctoral Fellow, IIM Calcutta) and Prof Ganesh N Prabhu (IIM Bangalore) jointly won the ET Cases – FLAME Pedagogical Innovation Case Award for presenting the best pedagogical innovative case titled “Arthakranti: Need for Strategy” at the 4th FLAME International Conference on Research and Teaching Cases, June 21-22, 2018 FLAME University Campus, Pune. 

The teaching case is about the Arthakranti Pratisthan, a volunteer organization started by Anil Bokil in 2005 to persuade Indian policy makers to adopt the Arthakranti Proposal - a radical taxation policy that has never been attempted in the world but can potentially be successful in India. Anil Bokil gained prominence due to the currency demonetization in India in 2016 which was part of process given in the Arthakranti Proposal.
