Sparsh – The Annual EPGP Alumni Connect Event 2018 on Sep 23

21 SEPTEMBER, 2018: Every year, the current batch of IIMB’s one-year Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) invites, back to campus, alumni of the programme, at an event called ‘Sparsh’.

This year, Sparsh will be conducted on September 23, 2018 on campus with IIMB Director Professor G Raghuram felicitating the programme chairs and administrators.

Sparsh provides a platform for the alumni to come together, reminisce and guide the current batch. The rich experience of the alumni, their triumphs post-MBA, their learnings in the business world, and the wisdom that they have gleaned over the years, are resources for current students.

Sparsh also gives IIMB students an opportunity to interact and network informally with the alumni.

This year, as EPGP celebrates 10 years, the Class of 2019 has pulled out all stops to make Sparsh a success.

The event will begin on a celebratory note, where the Director of IIM Bangalore, Professor G Raghuram, will welcome all the attendees in his opening address, and felicitate all the EPGP Chairs and Administrators, who have played a huge role in the success of the programme over the past decade.

This will be followed by a panel discussion on ‘Entrepreneurship – Finding the Right Business Model’, which will be moderated by Professor K Kumar, Professor – Entrepreneurship, and Dean, Alumni Relations & Development. The panellists comprise Abhishek Surendran, Gayathri Shanmugam, and Guru Prasad, who are EPGP alumni who have ample experience and success in the field of entrepreneurship.

The second panel discussion on ‘The Evolving Role of Technology in Business’ will be moderated by Vivek Srinivasan, Co-Founder – Startup Club, MBA at Ohio University. The panellists comprise Debraj Bannerjee, Vikram Sachdeva, and Puneet Singh.

The panel discussions will be followed by an informal networking session around four themes – Product Management, Technology and Operations, Sales and Finance, and Strategy Consulting.

The Placement Committee of the EPGP Class of 2019 will then share the placement timelines this year, the composition of the batch, and other related topics to give everyone a flavour of the current batch of students and their professional backgrounds.

Sparsh 2018 will conclude with ‘Fun and Furore’, with games and group activities.
