27 November, 2018: The Sixth Biennial Supply Chain Management Conference will be held on December 10-11, 2018 at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Organized by IIMB’s Supply Chain Management Centre the conference is for academic researchers and practitioners.
The conference theme is ‘Building Intelligent Supply Chains’. As technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, internet of things along with big data and analytics capabilities are changing the competitive landscape of businesses, the demand for intelligent supply chains is growing. The conference will present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the field of Enterprise and Supply Chain Management.

Plenary Session
The Inaugural Session of the conference will feature an Inauguration Address by the Director, IIMB followed by an Academic Keynote Talk and an Industry Keynote Talk by leading personalities in respective fields.
This year’s Academic Keynote Talk will be delivered by Dr. Milind Sohoni, Professor of Operations Management at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad.
Nearly 70 academic and industry papers were received from Academicians and Industry Executives for the Conference. These have been put through a peer review process and around 50 papers have been selected for presentation at the Conference. These will be presented in 10 Technical Sessions of the Conference.
