The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, is pleased to announced the 9th edition of its Biennial Supply Chain Management Conference, organized by the Supply Chain Management Centre (SCMC) – a Centre of Excellence of the institute, to be held on December 11–12, 2025.
This conference brings together academic researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to discuss and explore the latest challenges and opportunities in supply chain management. It offers a platform to share research insight, industry experience, and practical solutions through keynote sessions, paper presentations, panel discussions, and workshops.
Today’s supply chains are being reshaped by sustainability goals, rapid technological change – including Generative AI – and shifting geopolitical dynamics. Reflecting these transformations, the theme for this year’s conference is: “Geopolitics, Sustainability, and GenAI: Navigating the New Age of Supply Chain”

The highlight of the 9th Biennial Supply Chain Management Conference is the dedicated track for the doctoral student paper competition. Four to six finalists will be selected and invited to present their papers in a special session at the conference.
Awards will be given to outstanding doctoral students for demonstrating high quality research output, based on the decision of the Faculty Review Committee.
