CDPG’s Annual Retreat 2026 was held on 4 June 2026 in Anekal, Bengaluru. The day-long retreat was attended by CDPG team members and special guest Dr. Dwarika Prasad Uniyal, Pro Vice Chancellor and Director – Mysuru Campus, RV University.
The retreat began with an insightful keynote session on the importance of marketing and communications, delivered by Dr. Dwarika Prasad Uniyal, a distinguished academic leader, author, and management expert with more than 25 years of experience spanning academia and industry. At the conclusion of the keynote session, Prof. R. Srinivasan delivered the vote of thanks and presented Dr. Uniyal with a memento and a collection of selected CDPG publications.
The keynote was followed by an internal brainstorming session led by Prof. R. Srinivasan, Chairperson, CDPG, wherein team members engaged in an exchange of ideas about the Centre’s future goals and plans. The team then participated in an hour-long team-building exercise facilitated by an external expert, designed to foster collaboration and strengthen interpersonal bonding. After lunch, team members participated in a range of informal adventure activities. The retreat concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and high tea, followed by a group photograph.
