Ms. Chaitrali Bhoi (Project Lead, ONCM) from CDPG team delivered a special address on ‘Design of Open Network for carbon Markets (ONCM)’ at Climate Innovation Summit 2026 organised by Supply Chain Management Centre (SCMC) at IIM Bangalore and NET ZERO THINK. The address covered ONCM design and vision which sparked encouraging conversation amongst audience of policymakers, industry leaders, climate finance practitioners, and researchers.
The address drew on CDPG’s ONCM initiative to articulate an Open Network approach to navigate complexities of the carbon markets through building an open, interoperable, inclusive digital infrastructure at population scale. The ONCM presentation generated significant audience interest and introduced CDPG’s carbon market infrastructure work to a new set of institutional stakeholders highlighting its theme of economic inclusion. It reassured that open network-enabled approach for carbon markets’ digital infrastructure are well aligned with the future need of carbon markets.
