Tanmatra - Women in Leadership Programme (Batch 7)

Program Objective

• Prepare women leaders for top management and Board level positions in corporate sector.
• Provide functional knowledge and leadership skills needed to perform at top management level.
• Empower high potential women from different sectors to come together in a common platform for continuous knowledge sharing and peer learning.
• Build a forum for senior women leaders in India to ‘Pay It Forward’ to emerging women leaders.

Target Audience

• Women leaders with at least 15 years & above work experience; high potential, change champions.
• Minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 participants per sponsoring organization, subject to availability of seats.
• Participation by company sponsorship only. Individual nomination will not be entertained.

Limited to 35 high potential women nominated by participating organizations to go through a 7-month cross - industry leadership development program.

Sessions @ IIMB

Programme Structure

• 15 Programme days at IIM-B, run in 3 phases of 1 week each, between April 2023 and November 2023
• Leadership development and cross-industry learning, including assessments, stretch assignments, exposure, community giveback and networking with established leaders in India Inc
• Opportunity to work on a topic of significance within participating organizations in parallel during the Programme
• Themes are centered around Exploring the Self, Owning Careers and Impacting Business Outcomes; The approach is a blend of academic, reflective and experiential learning

Program Design

The programme consist of three modules.

Personal Leadership

The heart of leadership effectiveness lies in understanding self. Personal leadership module engages the participants with key questions on leadership. In this module we examine the nuances of being a woman leader and engage with harnessing the unique characteristics that they bring in to workplace. Through reflective sessions, envisioning exercises and conversations with alumni of Tanmatra, it is expected that the participants would define their personal leadership compass.

Functional leadership

Functional leadership module is intended to enrich the knowledge and perspectives of the participants on the various functional aspects of management. Typical topics in the module would include finance, operations, marketing and human resources management. A key takeaway of this module would be cross functional thinking and understanding management in a more holistic and integrated manner.

Strategic Leadership

The Strategic leadership module attempts to synthesize learning from the previous modules and prepare the participants to engage in thinking strategically.  Contemporary topics covered in this module include recent trends in the field of management, including corporate governance, ethics, advanced negotiations and future ready competencies. Classroom sessions would be supplemented with interactive sessions and panel discussions with current industry and thought leaders on issues related to strategy and leadership.

Programme fee is 3,50,000 + GST @ 18% per participant which is payable  in instalments as per the schedule indicated below

• 50,000 + GST , On Confirmation 
• 2,00,000 + GST,  On or before 1 April 2023
• 1,00,000 + GST,  On or before 1 July 2023
