Programme Overview

IIMB’s Executive Education has designed this 7-months long programme for the first-time managers or soon to be managers. Driven by technology and digital business models, the business environment is rapidly transforming. Therefore, all managers need to be entrepreneurial and innovative to succeed.

Conceived to meet the needs of tech savvy and busy first-time managers, the ELP will be offered in a blended format by leveraging digital technologies. In addition to live online sessions, you will learn from online courses developed by IIMB’s faculty members. These courses, from IIMB’s Digital Learning platform, will help you develop a strong foundation in management.

Who should attend?

The programme is designed for the first-time managers driven by a keen desire to learn, understand and apply the principles of management. Engineers and managers, in a technical role, aspiring to step into a techno-commercial role or taking up an entrepreneurial venture will benefit from the programme.

Eligibility Criteria

Participants should have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Science/ Commerce / Arts. Given the long duration nature of the programme, organisational sponsorship is encouraged but it is not a must.

Technology requirements

This being an online programme, participants must be equipped with the requisite level of Internet connectivity, on a 3 GB daily plan. You will be required to turn your video on when attending live, online webinars. Computers must be of ecent vintage and must have the latest version of MS-Office installed in it. We recommend laptop models with 8 GB RAM and at least 50 GB of free storage. From time to time, we will suggest installing software packages, most of which are free and open source. We strongly recommend using personal laptops that meet the specifications, without having to worry about restrictions on office issued laptops.

Programme Fee

Programme Fee is INR 2,98,000 + GST (applicable rates) per participant for Domestic participants and USD 4100 per participant for International participants.

Please add GST at prevailing rates to the programme fee.

All enrolments are subject to review and approval by the programme director. Joining Instructions will be shared with the organization if sponsored or to the participants on selection.

Note :

The programme fee should be received at the Executive Education Office, before the programme commencement date.
In case of withdrawals, the fee will be refunded only if a request is received at least 15 days prior to the start of the programme.
If a nomination is not accepted, the fee will be refunded to the person / organization concerned.

The certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the programme.
