Centre for Teaching & Learning to host ‘Foundations of Management’ course from 27 April to 01 May 2026

Nominations for the summer course are to be submitted by 20th March

05 March, 2026, Bengaluru: The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL), will conduct the fourth edition of the ‘Foundations of Management’ summer course, from 27 April to 01 May 2026, at IIMB. The five-day residential programme, to be offered in the offline mode, has been designed to introduce participants to core management topics and areas, thereby helping them develop a strong foundation in management education.  The sessions will be delivered by IIMB faculty members and senior doctoral students.

Applicants must be in the final year of their undergraduate degree. Interested candidates need to get themselves nominated by the Head of their Institute(s)/Department(s).

They may nominate up to five final year students of undergraduate programmes. The nominator must submit separate forms for each nomination. Please note that self and peer nominations received from students will not be considered. The nominations need to be submitted by 20 March 2026. Self and peer nominations will not be accepted.

The programme introduces final-year undergraduate students to key management disciplines, including Strategy, Decision Sciences, Economics, Finance & Accounting, Marketing, Organizational Behaviour & HRM, Production & Operations Management, and Public Policy. It will combine theory with practice through case-based discussions, experiential learning, and interactive classroom sessions, providing participants with exposure to management thinking and real-world decision-making.
