We are pleased to announce the First IIMB Accounting Research Conference that will be held on July 26-27, 2019 at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Bangalore, India. The conference aims to bring together leading Accounting Scholars from around the world to present their research in an informal setting. Professor Richard Sloan from the University of Southern California will be the keynote speaker for the conference. In addition, the two-day conference will feature eight paper presentations. Each paper presentation will be followed by an invited discussion. All the speakers in this inaugural year were invited.
