AYUSMAT is an annual event organized by the GMHE – General Management of Healthcare Executives, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. The forum provides a platform for academicians, researchers, practitioners, policymakers and thought leaders for the exchange of knowledge and enriches collaboration in the field of healthcare management. Our goal is to bring together bright minds and have sessions that are focused on cardinal issues in healthcare, foster sharing of ideas and provoke conversations that matter. AYUSMAT 2020 will be hosted on 9th February 2020 at the IIMB Campus in Bangalore, India.
The Theme for AYUSMAT 2020 is “Disruptive Innovation: The Future Landscape of Healthcare”.
The conference deliberations will be on the following topics:
Three essential questions about innovations prevent academics to determine if a new technology is a disruptive innovation to their ecosystem. First, what is disruptive innovation? Second, how can disruptive innovation be disruptive to some and yet sustaining to others? Third, how can disruptive innovations be identified before a disruption has occurred? This forum proposes to answer these three main questions by redefining disruptive innovations using innovation adoption characteristics.
