On 12th May, The Center for Digital Public Goods (CDPG) at IIM Bangalore hosted Mr. V R Govindarajan, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Perfios, for a focused engagement on the role of private-sector innovation within India’s Digital Public Infrastructure ecosystem. The visit opened dialogue on CDPG’s ongoing work across finance, commerce, and DPG initiatives, and laid the groundwork for a deeper working relationship with the Perfios organisation.

Perfios, a leading provider of financial data intelligence, operates at the heart of India’s credit and lending infrastructure, processing data from bank statements, tax returns, and GST filings for lenders, insurers, and regulators. The discussion explored the evolving interplay between DPI and private platforms, with particular focus on the Account Aggregator framework. Both parties expressed their intent to collaborate for the high-integrity adoption of DPI across the financial sector.
