The Center for Digital Public Goods (CDPG), IIM Bangalore, hosted an engaging knowledge session with Mr. Abhishek Sankritik, Director – Program and Policy at Finternet, on the vision, architecture, and emerging applications of the Finternet ecosystem.
The session introduced the foundational principles of Finternet, the Networks for Humanity (NFH) fabric, and its core building blocks for enabling interoperable, programmable, and scalable digital ecosystems. Mr. Sankritik also shared ongoing innovations, emerging use cases, and the potential of the architecture to address complex, cross-sector challenges through modular and reusable digital infrastructure.
The interactive discussion provided the CDPG research team with valuable insights into how Finternet’s design principles and infrastructure components can be leveraged across diverse research and policy contexts. The session encouraged participants to think beyond individual solutions and explore how shared digital infrastructure can enable innovation, interoperability, and collaboration across domains, strengthening the development of next-generation Digital Public Goods and Digital Public Infrastructure.
