Prof. Srinivasan R, Chairperson of CDPG, contributed to a panel discussion at NCAER’s (National Council of Applied Economic Research) inaugural AI-DPI 2026 conference. The conclave brought together senior policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, and leading academics from around the world to shape a forward-looking research and policy agenda at the intersection of AI, Digital Public Infrastructure, and economic governance.
Prof. Srinivasan spoke on the opportunities to leverage data from multiple DPI ecosystems, including UPI, FasTag, and GSTN, to strengthen economic analysis at the sub-state level, spanning districts and industrial estates. The panel also included Shomik Mehndiratta, Shivnath Thukral, and Mudit Agarwal.
