Greetings from the Editor’s Desk!

It is my pleasure to bring you the second issue of the year 2026 – Volume 38: Issue 2 of IIMB Management Review (IMR), with key highlights from the journal.

We are happy to welcome Professor Cordula Barzantny, Human Resources Management & Business Law, Toulouse Business School, Toulouse, France; and Dr Nada Khaddage-Soboh, Center for Women in Business & Leadership, American University of Beirut, Lebanon on board the IMR panel of Associate Editors. Their rich academic experience and editorial guidance will undoubtedly steer the journal forward in its journey to excellence.

We are thankful to the outgoing Associate Editors Professors Debarati Basu, E S Srinivas, Rupa Chanda, Naresh Khatri, and Srinivasan Sankaraguruswamy for their time and continued support to the journal over the years.

The number of submissions to IMR continues to be on an upswing, indicative of its increasing visibility. The forthcoming special issues reiterates our commitment to exciting research emanating from Conferences and Institutions from across the country and overseas.

The IMR June 2026 issue includes two accepted articles from submissions received from the 6th International Conference on Financial Markets & Corporate Finance for inclusion in the forthcoming IMR-ICFMCF 2024 Special Issue. The issue comprises five other regular research articles. We invite you to explore the complement of seven articles in this issue.

We are also happy to announce IMRDC 2027, in January 2027 at IIMB. The 18th edition of the annual IMR Doctoral Conference will feature a Keynote and select paper presentations after 3 rounds of rigorous review. Other featured events at the conference would include Panel Discussions, Workshops, and Invited Talks from eminent researchers. IMRDC brings together distinguished academics, doctoral students, and delegates from across the country for two days of intense academic engagement. An “exclusive discussant” for each of the paper selected for presentation at the conference remains a much-commended feature at IMRDC, since its inception in 2009. Submissions are invited from doctoral students from Management Science and allied disciplines, and from institutions across geographies.
