Nagendra Karthik (N. Karthik) is a Professional and teacher with ~18 years of experience. He specialises in Real Estate, AI-ML, DeepTech, FinTech, business strategy and policy. An Alumnus of IIT Bombay and has served as a Data Scientist in various organisations across domains. Aside from these, he mentors entrepreneurs, various start-ups and investors. He also handholds family businesses through their generational transition. He also designs course curricula and teaches several courses like FinTech, Entrepreneurship, Indian Knowledge Systems, Bhagavad Gita and Vedanta.

Accomplishments in Real Estate:

  • Co-author of the Government of India (MoHUA) and the National Housing Bank (NHB)’s report on “A Revenue Neutral Approach to Lower Stamp Duty and Registration Charges for Affordable Housing” (link-11, link-22)
  • Led the studies for the Airspace Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) to estimate the optimal Cost of Equity (CoE) for large infrastructure projects like airports. The “Study on the Determinants of Cost of Capital Pertaining to Delhi and Mumbai Airports”
  • His brainchild, www.rajakaluve.org, is widely used by various government agencies.

He has co-authored the book “The Puzzle of Work Joy and Evolution” – Indian perspectives on management and lessons from the Bhagavad Gita. His other achievements include an All India Rank 27 in GATE, being one of the 30 Young Leaders under 40 to represent India on a governance expedition to Israel, and being an accomplished mountaineer with several 5,000+ m altitude Mountaineering expeditions, including the tough and arduous Kanchenjunga base camps.
