At IIMB, no student offered admission should be denied a world-class education because of financial constraints. Need-based scholarships of up to 100% of fees are awarded based on income and demonstrated financial need. Merit-based scholarships additionally recognise students of exceptional academic talent.
To expand these opportunities, we invite your support – whether through an endowment fund or by directly sponsoring a scholarship for a specific student. Your contribution can be the difference between a student’s dream and their reality.
Director’s Merit List (DML)
The Director’s Merit List scholarship is awarded to the top 5% of each PGP first-year cohort – students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance under some of the most demanding conditions in Indian management education. Your support ensures this recognition carries real financial weight.
Needs Based Scholarship
Need-based scholarships offer up to 100% of the fees to deserving candidates, based on their income and demonstrated financial need
Differently-Abled Scholarship
IIMB reserves 5% of its admissions intake for students with disabilities – approximately 25 students each year. Based on demonstrated need, scholarships covering 20%, 50%, or 100% of fees ensure that a disability is never a barrier to a world-class education. Your contribution directly funds this commitment.
Merit Scholarships
Merit scholarships recognise students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance at IIMB. Awards can be designated for a specific subject area – Finance, Strategy, Operations, Marketing, and more – allowing donors to celebrate excellence in a field they care about.
NSR Pre-Doctoral Fellowship
The Prof. N. S. Ramaswamy Pre-Doctoral Fellowship is a highly selective programme designed to increase social diversity in management academia. Fellows spend a flexible one-year apprenticeship at IIMB, building the research skills and academic profile needed to successfully apply to doctoral programmes in management and allied disciplines. The programme specifically supports applicants from historically underrepresented sections of society.
Public Policy Scholarship
The Public Policy Scholarship supports students who are passionate about shaping governance and public systems but face financial constraints that make the course fee prohibitive. This is a need-based award designed to ensure that career choice, not financial circumstance, determines who enters public service. India needs better-trained policymakers. Your support helps build that pipeline.
Ph.D. Fellowship
A doctorate at IIMB takes 5–6 years of sustained, original research. IIMB currently supports over 100 doctoral fellows at various stages of their programmes, with 20+ new students joining each year.
Each fellow receives approximately ₹60,000 per month in stipend and support – ₹ 7.2 lakhs/fellow/year. A contribution at this level funds one Ph.D. student for a full year, directly supporting the researchers and future faculty who will shape Indian management thinking for decades to come.
