Rashi Agarwala, a PhD Scholar in the Strategy Area and a member of the Centre for Digital Public Goods at IIM Bangalore, shared insights from her recent Research Exchange Visit (REV) to Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Germany, during her REV seminar. She discussed her research work there and highlighted the academic collaborations and experiences that enriched her visit.

The Open Network for Carbon Markets (ONCM) Vision Paper and Technology Position Paper were published in July 2026, marking an important milestone in the development of an open, interoperable digital infrastructure for carbon markets. Co-developed by IIM Bangalore’s Center for Digital Public Goods (CDPG), Networks for Humanity, and the Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), ONCM is designed to connect stakeholders across the carbon credit lifecycle through shared digital infrastructure that enhances trust, transparency, interoperability, and auditability.
