Alacrity Muksor

Alacrity Muksor is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Centre for Public Policy, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). Her research focuses on health policy and systems, gender and health, digital health, and primary healthcare in India. Alacrity completed her Ph.D. in Development Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), where her dissertation explored the lived experiences of women with diabetes in the tribal communities of Meghalaya. Her work highlights how social context, gender, and the design of the health system shape chronic disease management and access to care. At IIM Bangalore, she works on projects that examine primary healthcare delivery, digital innovation, and the Right to Health in India. Previously, she served as Senior Researcher and State Program Manager (Meghalaya) at the Health Systems Transformation Platform (HSTP), where she supported the Government of Meghalaya in implementing performance-based financing and human resource policy reforms under a World Bank-supported project. She has also worked with the National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) and IQVIA Consulting Services (WHO Project). Trained in nursing, public health, and health systems research, Alacrity is deeply committed to advancing equitable, gender-responsive, and evidence-based health policy in India’s evolving policy landscape.
