Neymat is a Research Fellow at The George Institute for Global Health (GIGH), with over seven years of professional experience. At GIGH, she works across a range of projects focused on social participation in health, women’s health, health equity, and primary health care coverage. She is also a final-year doctoral scholar in Social Anthropology at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Her doctoral research is an ethnography that explores the prevalence and sociocultural dimensions of early-age hysterectomies among agrarian laborers in India.
