27 February, 2024, Bengaluru: Mr. Ananth Narayan Gopalakrishnan, Whole Time Member, SEBI, will address IIM Bangalore students on, ‘Regulatory Challenges in Financial Markets’ on 2nd March 2024, from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm, at N-101. The talk will be conducted by the Centre for Capital Markets and Risk Management (CCMRM) at IIM Bangalore jointly with Networth, the student-run Finance Club of IIMB.
The session will be chaired by Prof. Venkatesh Panchapagesan, Chairperson, Real Estate Research Initiative (RERI) and faculty of the Finance & Accounting area of IIM Bangalore.

About the speaker: Mr. Narayan handles few departments at SEBI including Market Intermediaries Regulation and Supervision, Alternative Investment Funds and Foreign Portfolio Investors, Integrated Surveillance, Economic & Policy Analysis, and Information Technology.
He has more than two-and-a-half decades of experience in banking and financial markets and has held several senior positions, including the position of an Associate Professor at the S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai.
Mr. Narayan holds a post-graduate diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, and a bachelor’s degree from IIT Bombay.
