MIJSC to host lecture on ‘Geography of Happiness’ on 25th Aug

18 AUGUST, 2022: The Mizuho India Japan Study Centre (MIJSC) at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) will host Dr. Ruut Veenhoven, Emeritus Professor of Social Conditions for Human Happiness, Erasmus University, Rotterdam, Netherlands, and Special Professor at North-West University in South Africa & Director of the World Database of Happiness, in the next session of the ‘Tatsujin-Speak’ webinar series on 25th Aug 2022 at 3.00 PM IST. 

Dr Veenhoven will speak on “Geography of Happiness: Perspectives Across Nations”. He will focus on the drivers of happiness and look at India and Japan as case studies to discuss the correlation between happiness and factors such as economic growth, longevity, etc.
