‘Non-verbal Communication on Gender and Inclusivity’ to be theme for exhibition

05 JANUARY, 2023: IIM Bangalore will host an exhibition themed ‘Non-verbal Communication on Gender and Inclusivity’ on 13 January 2023 to commemorate 16 days of world activism on impactful societal issues.

Every year, November 25 is recognized as the International Day for elimination of violence against women. This date is followed by 16 days of activism, which ends on December 10, the International Human Rights Day. The 16-day period also includes such significant days as World AIDS Day and International Day of Person with Disabilities, among others.

To mark this period, IIMB invites students, faculty, staff and residents to submit their entries in any of the following art forms:

(i)  painting/sketches

(ii) installation/craft

(iii) collage

(iv) rangoli

(v) any other medium of communication.

Participants can either bring their completed work to the venue (installation, sketches or sculpture, for example, can take time) or complete their work at the venue (rangoli, for instance, needs to be done at the venue). The event will be held between 2.00 and 5.00 pm at a venue to be intimidated soon. All participants are required to carry their own material.

The last date for confirmation of participation, by registering at https://forms.gle/uM833AY8JgyAr49EA, is 10 January 2023.
