18 September, 2018, Bengaluru: The Office of Research and Publications (R&P) at IIM Bangalore will host a research seminar titled: ‘ICDS Utilization, and its Impact on Food Intakes and Anthropometric Outcomes: Evidence from Eastern India’, on September 21 (Friday), 2018, from 02.30 pm, at Classroom C-21. The talk will be delivered by Professor J. V. Meenakshi, University of Delhi.

Speaker Profile: Dr. J. V. Meenakshi is Professor, Department of Economics, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. She has a PhD from Cornell University. Her teaching areas include Post Graduate courses on Econometric Methods, Indian Agriculture, Economic Development and Policy in India, and Survey Sampling. Her research areas include Nutrition and Health Economics, Agricultural Markets, Food Demand, and Social Exclusion.

She is a member of several committees of national and international importance. Her research has been published in journals of repute such as American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Canadian Journal of Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Economics, National Medical Journal of India, Indian Economic Review, British Journal of Nutrition, Economic and Political Weekly, and many more.
