30 November, 2018: On December 06, a congregation of technology innovators, social entrepreneurs, employers, educators, and NGOs will meet at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore for the Assistive Solutions Showcase. The aim is to share solutions that have played a critical role in the employability and employment of persons with a disability.
The event, hosted by IIMB along with EnAble India, will highlight barriers to societal inclusion, faced by persons with disabilities, some of which can be reduced via assistive solutions.
This event is aligned with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which is December 3.
Panel discussants include corporate representatives who will focus on their experiences of disability-related inclusion, and social entrepreneurs who will share their journey from conceptualization and incubation, to running ventures. The event will also feature an innovation showcase by Bosch.
