24 June, 2019: Ajay Seth, IAS (Batch of 1987), Managing Director (MD) at Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, will address the students of the Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy & Management (PGPPM) on ‘Public Transport System in Bangalore’, on 26th June at IIMB. The policy talk aims to help students understand the inception of ‘Namma Metro’, its role in building a robust public transport system and reducing the carbon emissions in the city. Ajay has held prominent positions such as Principal Secretary (Budget & Resources), Secretary (Budget & Resources), and Secretary (E-Governance) in his career. Currently, he serves as the MD of Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), a joint venture of Government of India and Government of Karnataka, entrusted with the responsibility of implementing the Bangalore Metro Rail Project.
