6 December, 2023, Bengaluru: International Conference on Information Systems 2023 (ICIS 2023), to be held from 10th to 13th December 2023 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), is being hosted by the Association for Information Systems (AIS), Atlanta, USA. This conference will provide an opportunity to attendees to get a perspective on the state-of-the-art in Information Systems research from around the world; along with a view of achievements of the Indian IT sector. The pre-conference events will be held from 6th December 2023.
Professors Souren Paul (N. Kentucky Univ), Suprateek Sarker (Virginia Univ) and Virpi Tuunainen (Aalto Univ, Finland) are the Conference Chairs. Prof. Rahul Dé, Dean, Programmes and faculty of the Information Systems area of IIM Bangalore, is the Honorary Conference Chair.
Faculty and Doctoral students from IIMB will attend and present papers at the event. IIM Bangalore is a co-sponsor of ICIS 2023.

In the research tracks, scholars will present cutting edge research on topics such as AI in Business and Society, Platforms and the Sharing Economy, Cybersecurity and Privacy, Governance and Digital Strategy, Future of Work, and Societal Impact of IS.
The sessions will include the IT Leadership Forum (CIO Forum), panels, symposia, workshops and keynote presentations. Business leaders from premier IT companies and start-ups, as well as those from overseas, are also expected to take part to discuss cutting edge research.
The keynote speakers include Nobel Laureate Dr. Abhijit Vinayak Banerjee, Professor of Economics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Dr. Bhaskar Ghosh, Chief Strategy Officer, Accenture.
