13 OCTOBER, 2019: The Centre for Software and Information Technology Management (CSITM) at IIM Bangalore and the International Software Product Management Association (ISPMA) will co-host the India Software Product Management Summit (SPMSummit 2020) on January 17 and 18, 2020.

SPMSummit 2020 will be the second edition of the summit following the first successful summit in February 2019 that witnessed participation of over 150 delegates. This event brings together industry leaders, professionals and academics and will cover a wide range of Software Product Management (SPM) topics through keynotes, workshops, panel discussions, fireside chats, presentations on industry best practices, success stories, and academic papers. In addition to the ISPMA Excellence Awards, SPMSummit 2020 includes the celebration of excellence in software product management research by honouring research and best practices in software product management.
Award nominations and research paper submissions are invited from Software platform/product companies, as well as researchers from research institutions and universities.
Track 1 SPM Excellence Awards: This is to recognise and celebrate excellence in Software Product Management Practices and to showcase the best practices and role models. Submissions are invited from startups and established software product/ internet commerce platform companies.

Track 2 - Research / Practice Papers: This is to recognize and celebrate research / practice papers, case studies, review papers, etc. on Software Products and Platforms. We solicit submissions in the form of extended abstracts representing either completed or work-in-progress research from practitioners, researchers and students.
