At birth, the human brain is endowed with 86 billion neurons with connections in trillions. With age, systemic diseases, head injury, obesity, depression, and alcoholism, there is a progressive loss of neurons leading to cognitive decline (loss of memory) in old age. Physical exercise, cognitive stimulation, music, and meditation will improve brain health. During this webinar, the speaker will provide current evidence regarding the role of exercise, diet, music, meditation, and sleep in the production of new neurons in the brain and improving brain health.
