13 July, 2023, Bengaluru: The Strategy area of IIM Bangalore will host a guest lecture on 'Managing Growth', as part of the Corporate Strategy course, at 4:15 pm on 19th July 2023, at the auditorium.
Prasad Gantasai, Senior Vice President and Global HR Head, Wipro and Dr. R Sridhar, Former Head, Corporate Human Resources, ITC Ltd., will speak on the topic. The talks will be followed by a Q&A session.
The Strategy area of IIM Bangalore, formerly called the Corporate Strategy and Policy area, is actively involved in research, teaching and consulting across a wide spectrum of areas related to strategy and policy. These include Leadership, Innovation, New Product Development, Alliances and Networks, Business Models, Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, Corporate Governance, and Non-market Strategies.
The area has a vibrant doctoral programme. Strategy faculty have authored papers in top-tier journals and books on innovation, entrepreneurship and more. The area faculty have been involved in high value consulting and advisory services with several Indian, multinational and government organizations. Some are also Board members of companies and not-for-profit organizations, and serve on Advisory Bodies and Government Committees. Prof. Ganesh N Prabhu is currently the Chairperson of the Strategy area.
