The talk, part of a series of special events being conducted during the Golden Jubilee year of IIMB, will be delivered by Florent Bouguin, Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President at OPTEL, Canada

14 August, 2023, Bengaluru: The Supply Chain Management Centre (SCMC) of IIM Bangalore, along with ‘OpMaC’, the Operations Management Club of the institute, will host a talk by Florent Bouguin, Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President at OPTEL, Canada, from 6 pm to 7 pm on 16th August 2023, at Classroom N-001, as part of its Speaker Series’23. The theme of the talk is: ‘AI-powered Supply Chains: Transforming Operations for the Digital Era’. The talk will be part of a series of special events being conducted during the Golden Jubilee year of IIMB.

Florent Bouguin is a research and development executive with over two decades of experience. He has devoted his professional career to developing innovative technologies and business solutions designed to measure and reduce human impact on the global environment. His visionary drive and dedication have placed him at the forefront of his field, cementing his reputation as a leader in sustainability-focused technology. OPTEL is a Certified B Corporation and Co-founder of the Canadian AI supercluster for Supply Chains (‘Scale AI’).
