Rehan is primarily interested in International Business, Corporate Governance, and Ownership Networks. His dissertation investigates the relationship internationalization has with firm performance and, taking a macro view, also investigates the evolution of the Indian corporate ownership network. His dissertation has been selected at all the major relevant International Doctoral Consortiums, including those organized by the Academy of International Business, Strategic Management Society, and the Academy of Management. Besides his dissertation research, Rehan is also working on several entrepreneurship projects and a project related to corporate product diversification. Rehan has presented his research at many international conferences, such as the Strategic Management Society (SMS) Annual Conference, the Academy of Management (AoM) Annual Conference, the Academy of International Business (AIB) Annual Conference, and the Southern Management Association (SMA) Annual Conference.
During his Ph.D. Rehan undertook several teaching assistantships for the core Business Strategy MBA course and MBA electives on Corporate Governance and Corporate Strategy. He participated in the teaching workshop conducted by the Center for Teaching & Learning, IIMB. His teaching interests are International Business Strategy, Corporate Governance, and Corporate Strategy.
Rehan holds a B-Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Z.H. College of Engineering & Technology (A.M.U.). He has ten years of prior international work experience in the middle east at Larsen & Toubro (L&T), where he was involved in Project Management and Business Development. His work experience is rich with exposure to different aspects of International Business, contributing to his research interests.
