IIMB’s R&P office to host a seminar on September 12

September 11, 2019, Bengaluru: The Office of Research and Publications (R&P) at IIM Bangalore will host a research seminar titled ‘Association of neonatal mortality with quality of care at birth: An observational analysis of nationally representative data on 189143 singleton livebirths, India: 2015–2016’, on September 12. The talk will be delivered by Mudit Kapoor, Economics and Planning Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi.

Mudit’s work has been published in renowned journals like Management Science, World Economy, The Review of Economics and Statistics, Economic and Political Weekly, Journal of Financial Intermediation, Innovations: Technology, Governance, Globalization (MIT press journal), etc. He has also received several research grants and awards including Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Research Grant to conduct studies in and contribute to various fields of Economics. Besides, Mudit has served as a member of the Key Advisory Group on Chit Funds/Nidhi Companies, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, and Consultant at The World Bank Group, Washington DC, from August 2003 to July 2004.
