NSRCEL at IIMB to announce 100 Women Entrepreneurs selected under WSP 2017 on May 10

May 10, 2018: The NSRCEL at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore will announce the selection of 100 women entrepreneurs-in-the-making and their ideas for incubation tomorrow at the IIMB Auditorium.

The women selected are graduates from the 2017 class of the nationwide ‘Women Start-up Programme (WSP)’, funded by Goldman Sachs, a global investment bank and active investor in India, and the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.

Following the successful 2016 pilot of WSP in Bangalore that saw participation from 1,700 women, the 2017 class of the WSP saw participation from over 6,000 women across the country in partnerships with leading academic institutes that included IIM Visakhapatnam, IIM Indore, IIM Nagpur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Udaipur, IIE Guwahati and CIIE Ahmedabad.
