14 December, 2017, Bengaluru: The Supply Chain Management Centre (SCMC) at IIM Bangalore, along with the Supply Chain Practitioners Council (SCPC), will host the Best Practices Exchange Meet on December 15 (Friday), 2017 at IIM Bangalore, from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm, at New Classroom (N) Block, IIMB.

Professor Amar Sapra, Chairperson, Supply Chain Management Centre and faculty in the Production & Operations Management area of IIMB, will address the participants.

Dr. Radha Krishna, Senior Strategic Supply Chain Program Manager at Intel, will speak on ‘Innovations in Supply Chain’. M Shimomura, Managing Director, Transystem Logistics International Ltd. (TLI), Logistics Partners of Toyota Motors, will take the audience through ‘Adopting the Toyota Way in Logistics Industry’. This will be followed by a discussion on ‘Automation and Robotics in Procurement’ by Kishore Gupta, Associate Director – IBM Procurement Services, Global Delivery Centers. A talk on ‘Construction Supply Chain’ will be delivered by Dr. Sanjeev Aundhe, Founder, Citius Project Portfolio Consulting.

The Best Practices Exchange Meet & Supply Chain Practitioners' Council (SCPC) is a platform to bring together leading supply chain practitioners across industries to share best practices, showcase achievements and seek solutions to problems leveraging one another’s experience.

The meet will provide the opportunity for interaction between executives, students, academicians and researchers in related fields.

The SCMC is a major area of teaching and research at IIMB. It is a strategic multidisciplinary Centre of Excellence within IIMB dedicated to carrying out specialized theoretical and applied research on Supply Chain Management and to promote closer and enduring industry-institute collaboration.
