24 March, 2021, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore's Centre for Capital Markets & Risk Management (CCMRM) will host a webinar titled, ‘How to invest properly?’ on March 27 (Saturday), 2021, from 04:00 pm to 05:00 pm. This is the third of a series of webinars to be held by CCMRM as part of Global Money Week 2021. The session will be streamed on the website: https://pie.ccmrm.org/#/

The webinar will be a discussion forum with Professor Hemant Manuj, Finance Area Head, S P Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR). Prof. Manuj teaches specialized courses in Finance on Investments, Derivatives and Risk Management. He has worked in the areas of Securities Regulation, Fund Management, Equity Research, Risk Management, Loan Portfolio Management, and Stressed Assets Prediction and Resolution for over two decades. He is a Fellow in Management (Finance & Control) from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). His areas of interest for teaching, research and consulting include Investments and Risk Management, and Stressed Assets Prediction and Resolution

In order to focus on new and emerging areas of research and education, Centres of Excellence have been established within IIM Bangalore. These centres draw on resources from their stakeholders and interact with them to enhance core competencies. The vision of the CCMRM is to provide academic leadership in research and teaching relating to Indian capital markets. The centre intends to disseminate original research and provide sources of existing research on capital markets to researchers interested in the region.
