NSRCEL to host session on ‘Readiness for Start-up Ventures from Accounting Perspective’ on August 22

18 August, 2017: IIM Bangalore’s NSRCEL will host a session on ‘Readiness for Start-up Ventures from Accounting Perspective’, on August 22 (Tuesday), 2017, from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm, at N001.

The main speaker of the event is Annapurna D Kabra, a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She has contributed articles on VAT and is a regular contributor of articles to various professional journals including the Bangalore branch of the ICAI Journal/Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association (KSCAA) Journal. She has co-authored the books, Guide to VAT Audit and Value Added Tax in Karnataka, and VAT Audit for Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, among many others. She is a state taxes committee member of the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI). Annapurna D Kabra is a faculty to the GST Certification course as conducted by ICAI and is a member of the Bangalore Study Group of ICAI. She is also a committee member for the development of study modules for Karnataka Commercial VAT officers and is a regular faculty to the Fiscal Policy Institute. Other than serving as Senior Consultant to DNS Consulting Private Limited, she works with large corporates as consultant and advisor for indirect taxes.
