25 July, 2017, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore will host a seminar on ‘Intergenerational Effects of Improving Women’s Property Rights: Evidence’, with Prof. Nayana Bose from Scripps College, California, as the speaker, from 5 pm on July 26 (Wednesday), 2017 at Classroom P12.

Prof. Nayana Bose teaches Economics at Scripps College since 2016. She completed her Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University, Tennessee, in 2015. She has an M. A. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her area of work is Development Economics, particularly in the areas of gender, household, health, etc. She has published in American Economic Review Papers and Proceedings and World Development.

Her paper analyzes the intergenerational effects following the positive changes in women’s inheritance rights.
