10 March, 2017, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore’s Data Centre and Analytics Lab (DCAL) will be hosting a Masterclass on Healthcare Analytics on March 11 (Saturday), 2017, from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm, at the IIMB auditorium.

The meet will include talks by Dr. Ananth N Rao, Apollo Hospitals on ‘Analytics in Healthcare’; Bhuvaneshwar Subramanian, Hewlett Packard Enterprise on ‘Analytics for Healthcare Providers: Applications, Trends and Future of Analytics in Healthcare’; Dr. Partha Haldar, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on ‘Data for Decisions – Public Health Perspectives’, and Professor U Dinesh Kumar, Chairperson, Data Centre and Analytics Lab, and Chairperson of the Decision Sciences and Information Systems area of IIMB, on ‘Predictive Analytics Models for NPS Improvement’.

The talks will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Prof. U Dinesh Kumar, featuring Dr. Ananth N Rao, Bhuvaneshwar Subramanian, Dr. Partha Haldar, and Sudhakar Thirumalai of GE Healthcare.

The DCAL at IIMB aims to support interdisciplinary empirical research using data on primarily Indian as well as other emerging markets. The vision of this initiative is to be India’s most comprehensive research data source.
