PGPPM hosts talk ‘Policy Formulation in India’s Tech Sector’, by Google exec, on May 15

14 May, 2019, Bengaluru: A special talk titled, ‘Policy Formulation in India’s Tech Sector’ has been organized by IIM Bangalore’s Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy & Management (PGPPM), on May 15 (Wednesday), 2019, from 2.20 pm to 4.00 pm, in Classroom C-23, as part of PGPPM’s event ‘Policy Speaks’, a Public Policy talk series. The talk will be delivered by Chetan Krishnaswamy, Director, Public Policy, Google India and South Asia.

Chetan Krishnaswamy has extensive corporate exposure, having held significant positions in Dell India and Intel, before joining Google. He has made significant contributions in the public policy space and has won several awards, including the Intel Achievement Award for driving an industry-wide initiative to influence the Central Government in reducing tariffs on PCs in 2004.

Chetan was also the recipient of Intel's Finance Achievement Award in 2005. That year, he also won the Intel Inspire Award when his abstract ‘Enabling Growth Influencing through Strategic Partnerships' was selected among 400 other entries which he presented at the Intel Inspire Conference at Oregon.
