International Women’s Day celebrations at IIM Bangalore

Events this year include talk by Major Nithi CJ on ‘The Progress Accelerators – Military Leadership Lessons on Belongingness and Inclusion’, contests, and more

5 March, 2024, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore will celebrate International Women’s Day on 8th March 2024, with a host of activities, games and contests on campus. Celebrated globally on 8th March every year, International Women’s Day is one of the most significant days of the year for IIM Bangalore, an institute that promotes diversity at all levels. 

On 7th March, there will be a talk on, ‘The Progress Accelerators – Military Leadership Lessons on Belongingness and Inclusion’, led by Major Nithi CJ, whose remarkable journey encompasses diverse roles, transitioning from an army officer to a certified Yoga wellness instructor, FIT India Ambassador and strategic advisor. She will share profound insights gained from her diverse experiences, offering valuable lessons which promise to be an inspiring narrative of growth, adaptability and purposeful exploration.

The events this year also include competitive games such as riddles, memory games and other contests. The games will be conducted during the forenoon on 7th March. Those interested to participate, please click: Participation

All the events will culminate in the final celebrations on 8th March that will see all the stakeholders of IIM Bangalore taking part.
