Dr. S Raghunath is the Chairman of South Asia Board of the Academy of International Business, a nodal international body for international business research and consulting. Prof Raghunath was also a Professor of Strategy in IIM Bangalore. Dr. Raghunath has been an Independent Director on the Boards of many Banks and companies.

Dr Raghunath has been the Chairperson for The Centre of Corporate Governance and Citizenship, IIMB from the academic year 2018 to 2021. He has been a consultant and advisor to a number of corporate entities, PSUs and Banks. He is a certified trainer in corporate governance by the Global Corporate Governance Forum, He has published papers on Differing Roles of Corporate Boards and the Role of Chairman and The Managing Director on Boards as well case studies relating to Corporate Governance.
