IMR Doctoral Conference 2016 - 2017: Call For Submissions

IMR Doctoral Conference 2016-2017

January 11 & 12, 2017

Call for Submissions

The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore’s flagship journal IIMB Management Review (IMR) and the Office of the Fellow Programme in Management are organising the eighth IMR Doctoral Conference (IMRDC 2016-2017) on January 11 and 12, 2017, at IIM Bangalore.  Our objective is to encourage doctoral students’ research and facilitate collaborative work among researchers from different institutions.  We aim to provide a forum where insightful feedback from senior researchers and academicians would help improve the quality of students’ work. The IMR Doctoral Conference is a benchmark event in India's doctoral student community in Management which has been commended, in particular, by participants for the useful and constructive feedback provided through its ‘one exclusive discussant per paper’ format.

We invite full paper submissions from doctoral students in Management which includes the areas Corporate Strategy & Policy, Decision Sciences and Information Systems, Economics & Public Policy, Finance & Accounting, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Organisational Behaviour & Human Resources Management, and Production & Operations Management.

The submissions will be reviewed by a Faculty Committee from which a subset of papers will be selected for presentation. Presenters of accepted papers will be provided accommodation and domestic economy airfare. A Poster Session/ Discussion Forum with short presentations is likely to be included in the conference. Papers selected for the conference will be considered for publication in IIMB Management Review, subject to author approval and after completion of due review processes of the journal.
