General Management for Healthcare Executives programme participants to host healthcare leadership summit Ayusmat 2024 on 9th March

Summit themed on 'Changing Paradigms in Healthcare-inspiring Solutions for a Healthier World' aims to promote exchange of knowledge and drive collaboration amongst healthcare practitioners 

4 March, 2024, Bengaluru: The participants of the General Management for Healthcare Executives (GMHE) programme offered by IIM Bangalore will host the next chapter of the healthcare leadership summit ‘Ayusmat’ on 9th March 2024, at the auditorium of the IIMB campus. The fourth edition of Ayusmat is themed on, 'Changing Paradigms in Healthcare-inspiring Solutions for a Healthier World'. 

Ayusmat 2024 will bring together global healthcare luminaries, practitioners and policymakers for discussions on emerging trends, technological breakthroughs and sustainable solutions shaping the healthcare landscape. From keynote addresses and eminent talks to panel sessions, the summit will offer an ideal platform for collaboration, learning and networking. 

Some of the topics to be covered at the summit include leadership challenges in healthcare; improving healthcare delivery; technological trends in healthcare; healthcare start-ups, and healthcare for bottom of pyramid. 

This year’s summit will be inaugurated by Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIM Bangalore; Dr. H Sudarshan Ballal, Chairman, Manipal Health Enterprises Private Limited (MHEPL); and GMHE Program Directors Prof. Haritha Saranga, Chairperson, Sustainability Taskforce and faculty of the Production & Operations Management area of IIMB and Prof. Ashok Thampy, Chairperson of the one-year, full-time MBA for experienced professionals Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management and faculty of the Finance & Accounting area of IIMB.  

The Chief Guest Dr. H Sudarshan Ballal will deliver the keynote address on, ‘Paradigm Shifts in Healthcare’.  

The other talks will be on topics including 'Effectiveness of Virtual and Augmented Reality in Healthcare'; ‘Small Hospitals, Big Impact: Navigating Feasibility in the Era of Corporate Giants’; ‘Touch-Trust-Technology’ and ‘ABDM: Its Way Forward’. 

The summit will include panel discussions on, ‘Changing Leadership, Organizations and Paradigms in Healthcare’; ‘Healthcare for the Bottom of Pyramid By Service Excellence’; ‘Technological Trends in Healthcare and its Uses’ and ‘Innovative Healthcare Financing Models’.
