8 June, 2023, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore is set to welcome the new batch of PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) students with an inauguration ceremony on 12th June 2023 (Monday), from 10 am onwards.
The inauguration will include welcome addresses by Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIM Bangalore, as well as by the Deans and Programme Chairpersons. This will be followed by the distribution of Director’s Merit List (DML) awards and recognition of different milestones achieved by PhD students during the past year. The event will also include a ‘Programme Overview’ by the Doctoral Programme Committee.
“The inauguration will allow us to connect with our PhD students”, says Prof. Ananth Krishnamurthy, Chairperson, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), and faculty in the Decision Sciences area.
