Women in Management Club to host annual Women Leadership Summit on 3rd March

The summit themed on ‘Invest in Women, Inspire Change, Drive Progress’ will be held in a hybrid setting and consist of a keynote speech and panel discussion 

1 March, 2024, Bengaluru: The student-run Women in Management Club (WIM) of IIM Bangalore will host the Women Leadership Summit 2024 on 3rd March 2024. The theme for this year’s summit, which will be held in a hybrid setting, is: ‘Invest in Women, Inspire Change, Drive Progress’. 

The objectives of the summit are to discover and explore ways to promote gender equality as well as women empowerment in the workplace, marketplace and community, and discuss business practices and corporate policies to reduce gender gap; highlight the relationship between gender equality and superior business performance; and identify strengths and areas where further action may be taken. 

The summit will consist of a keynote speaker session and a panel discussion. The keynote speaker session, to be held offline, would be led by Srividhya Srinivasan, Co-founder and Chief Customer Success Officer, Amagi Media Labs.

The panel discussion, to be held online, would feature Shreya Prakash, Co-founder & CEO, FlexiBees; Kapila Mehta, VP – Sustainability, Schneider Electric, and Ramachandran S, Principal Consultant, Infosys Knowledge Institute. The session would be moderated by Prof. Debolina Dutta, faculty of the Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management area of IIM Bangalore.

Every year, the Women Leadership Summit features experts from diverse fields who discuss crucial issues on subjects including women’s rightful place in industry, academia and entrepreneurship. The summit provides a chance to be inspired by the professional journeys of experts and find answers to challenges in the way of successful careers.
