Guest lectures for PGP students on 7th March

Talks to be led by Dr. K. P. Krishnan for ‘Business, Government and Society’ and Dr. Thiagu Ranganathan for ‘Foundations of Development Economics’ 

6 March, 2024, Bengaluru: Two guest lectures for students of IIM Bangalore’s two-year fulltime MBA, Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), will be hosted on 7th March 2024, from 6 pm to 7.30 pm.  

The first lecture, to be held at the IIMB auditorium, will be led by Dr. K. P. Krishnan, Director, IIHS Board, for PGP’s Business, Government and Society’. The talk will be anchored by Prof. Gopal Naik, Senior Fellow, Public Policy and Jal Jeevan Mission Chair Professor and Chairperson, Centre for Public Policy (CPP), IIM Bangalore 

The second lecture will be led by Dr. Thiagu Ranganathan, faculty at the Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram, on his co-authored book, Accidental Gamblers: Risk and Vulnerability in Vidarbha Cotton for PGP’s Foundations of Development Economics’ (FDE). The talk, being organized by the CPP Office at N-204, will be anchored by Prof. Soham Sahoo of the Public Policy area of IIM Bangalore
